Wellbeing Wednesday, Teeth

The children took part in our Wellbeing Wednesday on the 24th Feb. They dressed in red clothing and the message of the day was 'looking after our teeth'. This message links in with our community helper which is The Dentist. Children talked about, looking after their teeth and how to keep them big and strong, during group time. The children also took part in an activity using shaving foam to represent toothpaste and were encouraged to clean a big set of teeth with a large tooth brush, talking about good tooth brushing techniques. The children took home a two week tooth brushing chart to encourage them to brush their teeth twice a day and record it on their chart. Please return your  completed charts to nursery to go in children's Learning Journals.
