Snack time

For snack time one day this week the children have sampled fruits and vegetables that have seeds. This is part of our topic about growing things and learning about where fruit and veg comes from. The children sampled peppers, tomatoes, dates, melon, lemons and plums talking about the seeds and stones inside them. Children were then encouraged to use the seeds with playdough to recreate their own fruits.
