Happy New Year to all our children and families, welcome to 2019. I hope it is an amazing year for you all. We will be supporting 38 children going off to school this September. We hope parents will support their children with School Readiness as discussed at your child's parents appointment. If you want to see your child's school readiness sheet at any point, please speak to your child's key worker. There will be another parent's session in the spring term to further discuss their progress.
Over the next 4 weeks we are exploring the sky, this includes looking at space and the weather. We have lots of exciting activities for children to get involved in.
We are also exploring shapes and supporting children in learning about and talking about different shapes. This supports children's learning and development in shape, space and measure. Children will be encouraged to find shapes in the environment and learn the difference between the basic shapes.
