Making Chapatis

The children made chapatis as part of our All About Me topic. We enhanced our role play kitchen to create a traditional cultural kitchen including ready made chapatis for children to role play making, traditional serving dishes and spices to add a sensory experience. Roxy then carried out the activity making fresh chapati dough and teaching the children how to roll them out using a traditional board and rolling pin. The children sampled their chapatis while having their story.
