Only pictures..........................?????

Your child has made a picture today, it looks nice, it will stick on your fridge or go inside your special memory box but have you stopped to think about the learning that has gone on while making that picture and how creative work fits into our curriculum?

Roxy has been making reindeer pictures. This involved the children taking off their shoes and socks, having their feet painted and printing them on paper, followed by their handprints and then finishing off with a bit of decoration for eyes and a nose. The focus of this activity was to promote independence, taking their own shoes and socks off and putting them back on. Physical development - Health and Self Care - Dresses with help.
