Last week the practitioners from St Marys @ The Park met together to review the settings policies and risk assessments. These are often amended as legislation changes and new procedures are implemented, but an annual review is always carried out to give the team an opportunity to refresh their knowledge and ensure that policies are being adhered to. As well as our standard risk assessments, a daily risk assessment is carried out in the setting to check the outdoor play area is suitable before children come in, no cleaning products are left out, broken toys etc. The team did exceptionally well as some of them are obviously fasting too at this time of year and still give up there time to ensure our quality of provision remains high. The last part of the summer term is incredibly busy for my team and both myself and Tracy, our Area Manager, are very proud of their hard work and professionalism.
