Storm Hector brings a nice surprise

When storm Hector brought winds and rain to the park he shook all the pine trees and brought down the pine cones. We thought it was a great opportunity to take the children out to collect them. We collected a huge amount of pine cones to use for display in nursery. We can also use these to count and fill our diggers up with. A great natural resource for the nursery that the children had great fun collecting.
