Staff Changes

We were due Tas to join The Park team starting in January but unfortunately due to poor health she has not taken up a position with us.

The staff team is now as follows:

Tracy - General Manager - Tracy has overall responsibility for our 3 St Marys sites. She has been at the forefront of opening and establishing all centres and is extremely knowledgeable in early years. Tracy is available to discuss any issues that cannot be resolved with the nursery manager. She visits the site regulary to keep up to date with development and to support Amanda in her role.

Amanda - Nursery Manager - Amanda started her journey as part of the original team establishing the St Marys college site provision. After the birth of her second child she moved to The Park to set up and establish our current provision, leading it through an outstanding Ofsted in 2016. If parents have any issues regarding staff, their children or ideas for the setting then please speak to Amanda. Amanda is the Safeguarding and SENCo lead for the setting and the First Aider at Work.

Susan - Early Years Professional - Susan joined The Park when it opened, originally being part of our sister team at Wensley Fold. Susan works full time at The Park. Susan supports Amanda with regard to Safeguarding and SENCo issues.

Roxy - Early Years Professional - Roxy joined The Park when it opened, originally being part of our sister team at Wensley Fold. Roxy works mornings at The Park. Roxy is the Oral Health Champion for the setting and responsible for First Aid at Work.

Saira Ahmed - Early Year Professional - Saira joined The Park to train towards her level 3. She completed her level 2 at the college site in 2017. Saira works 4 full days at The Park.

Becky - NVQ Trainee - Becky joined the team in Sept 2017 and is currently training towards her level 2 which she will complete in July 2018. She has settled well at The Park and has formed great relationships with all the staff and children. Becky works 4 full days at The Park.

Saira Amin - Saira is our new addition to the team. Saira used to bring her 2 boys to the nursery. She then embarked on completing her NVQ level 2 in childcare which she completes next month. Saira works 2 afternoons at The Park. You might see more of her though as she also volunteers as she is now studying to gain her level 3 in childcare with Blackburn College.

Kim - Kim completed her level 3 training at The Park in 2017. She now works every lunch time to cover staff lunches and cares for the children doing the 30 funded hours.

All the team at The Park are committed to their role. They attend regular training and all hold a current first aid certificate.
