Pancake Day

The children whisked up a batch of their very own pancake batter as we made pancakes on Tuesday. The children sampled pancakes with lemon, strawberry and banana. They talked about their likes and dislikes with E.Y.P's and were encouraged to make their own decisions promoting democracy, one of our St Marys Values. The photos and sampling charts will be displayed in the playdough area if you would like to view them.

 

The children also took on their own role making pancakes, copying what they had learnt from the E.Y.P.'s and putting it into practise. They made links to their own experiences and shared their experiences with others.
